Recent school mural project – Claremont High School
Over on the sign painting side of things – a mural painted on the interior walls of this High School gymā¦
Gym graphics were the project at hand recently āĀ this time, all four interior walls of this gym at Claremont High School in Los Angeles County, CA. Our design included shadowy wolves staring down this schoolās sportsĀ competition!
First, photos of the finished product. Then,Ā some progress photos below.

Recent school mural project – Gabrielino High School
A hand-painted school mural project recently, over on the sign painting side of Big City Signs. Here is how it wentā¦

(I speculated that they thought about using it for discipline ā they could threaten to feed unruly children to it, but thatās just my odd way of thinkingā¦)
The project started in the shop ā after settling on a design, a photo was traced to create the 12 colors that wouldĀ be used. That electronic file in vector format could then be drawn out on the plotter to create the paper pattern for transferring the design.
Then it was on to the project location. After preparing the wall and the windows the graphic would be painted over, the base coat was painted.
Over the next fewā¦
